Working Out!

I looked out the window and saw a beautiful morning (sans the sight of octopus wires and unfinished water pipes excavation in Capistrano).

Seemed like a nice day to take a walk and exercise (owwwws?)

So walk I did.

What excited me most was the fact that it was my first time to wake up where Divisoria is just less than five hundred meters away. Talk about easy access to McDonald's and Little Baghdad (home of  deh-bi-di deh-bi-dis).

Alas, it was only 6:30 in the morning. Most stores were still closed. Apparently, this is a city that sleeps.

So I diverted my excitement to a familiar sight. Xavier University. No one in there except the guards. I visited Xavier Hall. So quiet and spooky. I checked out the bulletin boards and saw a picture of me with my Portia sisters. What a perfect opportunity to yield to my kleptomania. I would normally just pass by the photos, but this was an exception: in the picture I was wearing my yellow top (hey, i thought i looked cute!) and flashing the most cheesy smile. I knew I couldn't get a copy conveniently, so I stole the picture. Thank you Sais! I hope you won't expel me from the sorority for this.

It was time to leave XU. I then walked to the market until I reached the gym.

Perfect! No one else was there when I arrived. At least I'll be the only one stinking from sweat.

Whoah.

I sucked my stomach in just so none of the flab gets in the way of getting a good shot. Did I say good? Yuck! I still have along way to go to fit into a size 4 (which is the new size 12!).

If I were a celebrity, I'd be paparazzi's juiciest scoop-- the anti-thesis to anorexics and bolemics. Sigh. In make-over features that magazines are so fond of, this will be the "before" shot. Don't ask me for the "after" shot because I am not there yet.

Whew.

The gym sesh got me so tired that I just have to wrap the morning up with some good ol' snoozing.

Have a blessed week everyone!
